Rio Real Golf Course is Located just 3 km from the resort of Marbella, in a valley between the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains. Its main feature is the Real River, which meanders through the course and gives it its name.

The front 9 is lined with Pine and Palm trees making things tight from the tee. The Real River comes into play on a number of holes. The back 9 is slightly more open, and its elevated tees offer stunning views across the surrounding countryside and out to sea. The signature hole is the par 4, 11th, where players must make an accurate tee shot over a huge ravine, and an approach over the river that guards the green.
