Santa Maria Golf Course

Located in the village of Elveria, close to the resort of Marbella, Santa Maria Golf Course lies between two valleys that form the natural contours of the course.

The Santa Maria Golf Course’s most spectacular holes are the 17th, where the green is surrounded by bunkers, and the 11th, where the green is bordered by a large lake and waterfall.

Los Naranjos Golf Club

Like many of the area’s courses, Los Naranjos Golf was designed by the renowed course architect Robert Trent Jones, and he considered it one of his best creations.

The golf course measures over 7000 yards and is more suited to low handicappers. It is regarded as one of the toughest course layouts on the Costa del Sol.

Rio Real Golf Course is Located just 3 km from the resort of Marbella, in a valley between the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains. Its main feature is the Real River, which meanders through the golf course and gives it its name.

La Quinta Golf Course

Overlooking Marbella’s Golf Valley, La Quinta Golf Course was designed by Manuel Pinero and Antonio Garcia Garrido. It opened for play in 1989.

Elevated tees offer excellent visibility, but fairway bunkers await any tee-shots that stray too far off line. Raised greens also require careful club selection and accuracy is required on approach shots to avoid the fearsome greenside bunkers.

Las Brisas Golf Course

Opened in 1969, Las Brisas Golf Course was an instant hit and over the years has hosted two world cups, three Spanish Opens and the Mediterranean Open.

Las Brisas has a typical Robert Trent Jones golf course design with raised greens and a large number of strategically placed bunkers guarding both the fairways and greens. Water is also a major feature, with ten lakes coming into play on twelve holes. The fairways are imported Bermuda grass that is immaculately kept all year round.

Santa Clara Golf Course

Located on the eastern side of Marbella, Santa Clara Golf Course is another new course that has fast become a must play for regular visitors to the Costa del Sol.

The Santa Clara Golf Course has an excellent layout and is designed to suit golfers of all standards. It consists of wide fairways on flat terrain, with numerous water hazards and bunkers that require intense concentration at all times. The golf course always proves popular due to the first class condition of the greens and fairways, and for the service provided by the staff.

Los Arqueros Golf Course

Opened for play in 1991, Los Arqueros Golf Course was the first Costa del Sol course designed by Seve Ballesteros. Set amongst the Ronda Hills, between two valleys, the golf course offers scenic views of the Mediterranean.

Measuring just over 6400 yards, Los Arqueros is not long by modern standards, but with tight fairways and a number of hazards, accuracy is the key to scoring well. Undulating fairways and small greens require careful club selection.

Los Arqueros Golf Course is more suited to the more experienced or lower handicap golfer. It offers a great test of golf combined with scenic views of the Ronda Mountains and Mediterranean sea.

Marbella Golf and Country Club

Marbella Golf and Country Club is situated in an elevated position in the Andalusian hillside overlooking the resort of Marbella and the Mediterranean Sea.

The club has a magnificent array of facilities including, conference rooms, a pro shop, a driving range, a putting green, tennis courts, and a Wellness Centre that offers Yoga and Pilates classes, and a variety of massage and physiotherapeutic treatments.

Guadalmina North Golf Course

Shorter and hillier than the South Course, the North course is considered the easier of the two.  There are plenty of water hazards to catch players out however and a good mix of holes to make for an enjoyable golf round.

This is the older of the two onsite golf courses,  the South course is renowned for its difficulty and is a real test of golf. Fairways are narrow and well protected by old trees requiring straight hitting.

Aloha Golf Club

The Aloha has hosted the PGA Tour 3 times in recent years and is one of the top golf courses in Spain. 

A parkland course of Par 72 it is laid out in the traditional way with 4 par 5?s, 10 par 4?s and 4 par 3?s’ distributed evenly between the two nines. 
At 6,293m (6,882 yards), from the white markers, the course requires accuracy from the tee and a good touch around the greens. 
The golf course undulates through trees and lakes with outstanding views of ‘La Concha’ mountain and the Mediterranean Sea. 
The course designer, Javier Arana, further enhanced the playing experience by planting a wide range of trees and shrubs that provide beautiful displays of colour throughout the year.
