Torrequebrada Golf Course
Set in the heart of the Costa del Sol, Torrequebrada is one of the most beloved golf courses in Spain, with many golfers returning year after year. Measuring 6,399 yards at its fullest length, Golf Torrequebrada is a fun course that provides a genuine challenge for visitors of all abilities, as the layout winds its way around a number of treacherous lakes.
The adventurous design is a masterpiece of Jose ‘Pepe’ Gancedo, famous for several of the best courses in Spain, Golf Torrequebrada makes that list as a top 80 Spanish course. With its epic location between Marbella and Malaga, the course is fan favourite among UK golfers who are looking to make the most of the Spanish coast.
The course features a number of dog-legs which make accurate driving very important, while the clever design incorporates strategically positioned bunkers that are significant obstacles. Torrequebrada is known for its excellent condition, with terrific greens that are a true joy to putt.
Torrequebrada’s par 3 11th is a picturesque hole. Almost everywhere but the green means trouble, with a large lake stretching in front of the tee, up until the green area, which is surrounded by bunkers to the front and left and trees on the right.
