Opened for play in 1991, Los Arqueros Golf Course was the first Costa del Sol course designed by Seve Ballesteros. Set amongst the Ronda Hills, between two valleys, the course offers scenic views of the Mediterranean.
Los Arqueros Golf Course Description
Measuring just over 6400 yards, Los Arqueros is not long by modern standards, but with tight fairways and a number of hazards, accuracy is the key to scoring well. Undulating fairways and small greens require careful club selection.
One of the most difficult holes is the Par 5, 8th, which looks a daunting prospect from the tee. The numerous trees and a large lake catch the eye, while the landing area looks very narrow. The hole doglegs to the right, with the green located in the valley below surrounded by another water hazard, and bunkers on both sides.
Los Arqueros Golf Course is more suited to the more experienced or lower handicap golfer. It offers a great test of golf combined with scenic views of the Ronda Mountains and Mediterranean sea.
