Carton House Montgomerie Course
The course is long but can be enjoyed by handicap golfers as the fairways are wide and poor shots do not get punished all the time that is of course if you stay away from the deep bunkers. There are no signature holes to speak of just a good all round course.
Located just 15 miles to the West of Dublin Centre and within the beautiful Carto House Estate you will find the proud host venue of 3 Irish Opens and Inspired by the greatest links lands of the world, The Montgomerie, an inland links experience, pays tribute to the traditions of the game and sets a challenge like no other. This was the second course designed by Monty and he stated you can’t call it a links course but does play and look like a links course.
