A mix of heathland and parkland the course is long but fair and can be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities due to the large fairways on most holes. Many golfing commentators put the Heath course on the same standing as the Glen. Our recommendation is to play both and decide for yourself.

The European Club

The European Club is located just south of Dublin and it features unrivalled sea views on just about every hole.  Aside from being a tremendous links golf experience, the European Club has a unique 20 hole set up with two extra par-3s affording the golfer a 20-hole round which includes five holes running very close to the sea….it is very normal to see golfers seeking out their ball from the beach.

In our view, the European Club is a must play as part of any Dublin and the East of Ireland golf trip. Be sure to bring your camera…and a few extra golf balls.
