Temple of Literature

Step through the gates of the Temple of Literature, founded in 1070 and home to Vietnam’s first national university.

The Old Quarter

Lose yourself in the tangle of narrow streets at the heart of Hanoi, many still named after the trades that once filled them, from silk and silver to paper and tin.

Train Street

Visit Ha Long Bay

Ha Long Bay

Nothing quite prepares you for your first sight of Ha Long Bay, one of the main reasons to visit Hanoi and a must on any Vietnam golf holiday. Stay in a hotel overlooking the bay, then set off on a day or overnight cruise to explore vast caves, kayak between the karsts and watch the sun go down. It’s a few hours by road from Hanoi, but worth every minute.
