What is the currency in Vietnam?
In Vietnam, they use the Vietnamese dong. You can take money out locally or order currency in advance. Cash is still very widely used and you can also use cards.
What is the time difference in Vietnam?
Vietnam is 7 hours ahead of the UK in our Summer and 6 hours ahead in our Wintertime.
Are transfers provided in Vietnam?
All of our golf holiday packages are inclusive of private airport and golf transfers to off-site golf courses in Vietnam.
What is the golf experience like in Vietnam?
The golf experience is fantastic. Think of a hotel-style experience but within a golf course. Upon arrival at the golf course, your golf bags are looked after and placed on your buggy. You will check into the golf course, provided a locker to keep your valuables in and there are changing facilities should you need to change in to some golfing attire. Any purchases in the clubhouse or golf course are added to your account and you simply pay for these as you exit the clubhouse as part of the check-out procedure. It is very easy to follow and makes life easy for golfers.
Caddies are mandatory and an integral part of the golf experience in Vietnam. The caddie fee is included in your green fee but gratuities are discretionary and paid to your caddie in cash following your round so, it is always good to have Vietnamese Dong to hand to recognise the level of service experienced.
Buggies are not always mandatory but we highly recommend them to ensure the best golf experience.
Can you include special interest excursions outside of golf in Vietnam?
Yes, we can add on excursions in Vietnam and highly recommend experiencing a multitude of different sides to your Vietnam trip. We can arrange and include them in your itinerary so that all you need to worry about is making the fairway with your first opening tee shot.
