Turkey Golf Holidays

The Ultimate Guide to All Inclusive golf holidays in Belek

Belek in Turkey offers golfers the perfect combination of championship golf courses, 5-star hotels, great climate, a beach-front location and an ALL INCLUSIVE golf holiday experience.

There is a wide choice of hotels and golf courses, and this guide is designed to help you make decisions easier when it comes to your next golf trip in Belek.

All Inclusive – What does it mean?

All the hotels within our Belek portfolio offer an all-inclusive board basis.

This means that you can enjoy your breakfast, lunch, dinner, and selected snacks alongside a combination of soft and alcoholic drinks during your stay.

Each hotel has its own definition of what is covered under the all-inclusive concept. We can provide you with a copy of the up-to-date concepts for each hotel on request but it is important for you to know the basics.

The thing to bear in mind is that all inclusive does not always mean that everything is included within your package. One commonality across all the hotels in Belek is that from a food perspective, all-inclusive meals will be served in a buffet-style restaurant. From a drink perspective, there will always be a good selection of soft and alcoholic drinks. Expect items such as water and tea/coffee to be included as standard.

Snacks are also included and there is often a pool bar or snack bar option where you can get something light to eat outside of the normal mealtimes.

Minibars are included as standard in the majority of Belek hotels. However, the inclusions within the minibars vary with some hotels including a selection of soft drinks, beers, wines and spirits along with snacks including fruit, crisps and chocolates too!

Are a la carte dinners included?

This depends on the hotel that you choose to stay in. Some hotels are purely buffet-style, then certain hotels will have a selection of a la carte restaurants included. Some hotels have a hybrid of both where you can choose the buffet or for a small fee, they will offer a la carte dining in their flagship restaurants.

The typical price to upgrade your dining from the standard buffet to a la carte (when not already included) is around 20 euros per person per meal. In certain hotels, it can cost 50 euros per person extra depending on the restaurant (for example Teppanyaki or steakhouse)

Here is our guide to the dining choices in Belek hotels:

What about the drinks?

Drinks very often include national and a selection of international drinks. For example, Efes is the local Turkish beer but you will often find International beer options too. Wine is often Turkish (and very good) but there will be imported wines in selected hotels. All hotels have an extensive cocktail list too and if you like a spirit, there are plenty of recognisable brands of gin, rum, and whiskies to enjoy too.

Is it all inclusive in the golf clubhouse?

Cullinan Links Golf Course

Belek has been moving more towards their clubhouses mirroring the hotels and there is a good selection of all-inclusive golf clubhouses so you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast, lunch or dinner in the clubhouse (or all 3) including drinks. The buggy bar is also often included within the golf course all-inclusive concept.

Golf courses that currently offer an all-inclusive concept within the clubhouse:

•    Gloria Golf Club
•    Montgomerie Maxx Royal Golf Club
•    Cornelia Faldo Golf Club
•    Cullinan Links Golf Club
•    Carya (For Regnum guests only)
•    National (For Regnum guests only)
•    Kaya Palazzo Golf Club

Do the hotels operate the same all-inclusive concept all year round?

Belek is an all-year-round destination, in the spring and autumn months, the hotels are occupied by us golfers. The summer months see the resorts full of sun-seekers more interested in the beach than the bunkers and with this means a higher occupancy within the hotels because all of the outdoor areas are open and being used. In winter (late November to the beginning of March) the hotels are much quieter but still have plenty of golfers around due to Belek’s favourable winter golfing conditions.

The hotels operate a summer and winter concept as a rule.

Most of the summer concepts begin around the start of May and last until the mid-end of October. This means that many of our golfing customers could experience a winter concept or a blend of both depending on when you arrive. The weather conditions will dictate when the hotels decide to activate their summer and winter concepts.

What this means is that during the hotel winter concepts, due to hotel occupancy being a tad lower and the outside areas not being used as readily, the full selection of bars and restaurants may not be available. Be assured however that there will always be a plentiful choice of places to eat and drink. This is reflected in the pricing on offer with all the hotels.

If you are seeking the very best of both worlds, we would recommend visiting Belek in mid to late May or September and early October where there is always a great blend of golfers and non-golfers onsite, the weather is great and you can avail yourself of all the amazing resort facilities!
