A Par 72 and playing at 6,300 yards from the yellow tees, holes play in many different directions. If there is an Atlantic breeze picking up you might find some holes play much longer than the scorecard suggests, but many can also play much shorter!
A more resort-styled layout set in the dramatic landscape of Puerto del Carmen. Opened in 2008, the course weaves seamlessly through natural volcanic terrain, with black lava rock contrasts, wide fairways and generous landing areas creating a visually striking yet playable experience.
The front nine is relatively open, allowing golfers to find rhythm off the tee, but accuracy remains key with cleverly positioned bunkers and subtly contoured greens. As the round progresses, the back nine becomes more exposed to coastal breezes, adding challenge and demanding greater control, particularly on approach shots.
Signature holes include the par four 5th, where panoramic views towards the Atlantic Ocean provide a stunning backdrop to a demanding tee shot. The par-three 15th is another standout, requiring a precise strike to a raised green framed by volcanic rock. The closing holes offer a strong finish, with risk-and-reward opportunities ensuring an exciting end to the round at one of Lanzarote’s most scenic and enjoyable courses.
