Lanzarote Golf

Located just outside Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote Golf is a modern links style golf course, designed to be enjoyed by those hoping to play their golf in Lanzarote. The creation of Ron Kirby, who designed a number of courses in the Canary Islands, there are incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean and also the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura.

A Par 72 and playing at 6,300 yards from the yellow tees, holes play in many different directions. If there is an Atlantic breeze picking up you might find some holes play much longer than the scorecard suggests, but many can also play much much shorter!

Costa Teguise Golf Club

Designed by John Harris in 1978, Golf Costa Teguise is played at the bottom of an old volcano, among lava, palm trees and native cacti. This testing 18-hole golf course requires accuracy off the tee, with testing dog legs offering the option to cut off the corner to gain yardage on your approach. Many of the holes on the golf course have wonderful views across Lanzarote and of the Atlantic Ocean, leaving you with incredible memories to take home from your round.

I have been booking group golf holidays with Golfkings for many years. Mainly travelling to Turkey or Portugal. We have always had excellent service and been very satisfied with our trips. The only major issue was with our trip to Turkey in May 2023, where the Gloria Serenity was undergoing major building work as well as introducing charges to dine in the a la carte restaurants. We felt we were treated very poorly over this matter and decided to return to Aphrodite Hills in Cypress. This is an excellent hotel with very attentive staff, good food and three a la carte restaurants that didn’t charge. The PGA golf course at the Hotel is outstanding and in immaculate condition. We did have one issue where we wanted to change a round of prebooked golf from Secret Valley to one on Aphrodite Hills. I spoke to a lady at Golfkings, I think she was called Trish, who sorted to transfer without any issue or cost. Truly excellent service. Initially we had some difficulty securing good flight times and I booked us on to flights with Ryanair from Liverpool. Whilst the times were not the best they got us there and back. Five hours in a Ryanair plane is not the most comfortable!! Most of my recent bookings have been made through Matt Connolly and I have enjoyed many friendly chats with him. I now understand that Matt is not well, can I wish him all the very best and a speedy recovery.
