Fairmont Banff Springs, 7 nights, Bed & Breakfast
The unmissable castle style setting of the Fairmont Banff Springs gives you a fantastic base for a Canadian Rockies golf holiday. Surrounded by Bow River and the peaks of Mount Rundle and Sulphur mountain, this luxury 4-star hotel offers a stunning setting within Banff National Park.
The rooms and suites are comfortable and spacious, all with mountain and valley views, and if you’d like to treat yourself, we would recommend upgrading to a Fairmont Gold room, for lounge access and some of the best views of Mount Rundle.
There's plenty to fill the hours off the course, too, with a spa, indoor and outdoor heated pools and an indoor hot tub, plus a fitness centre and easy access to the trails and nearby experiences in Banff. When it comes to evening, you are spoilt for choice, with plenty of high quality bars and restaurants available onsite, a notable favourite includes the Chop House restaurant where you can enjoy a fine Alberta steak.
Golf wise, you can enjoy 27 holes onsite at Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Club, including the Stanley Thompson designed championship course, home to the famous par 3 fourth, Devil's Cauldron.
Fairmont Banff Springs combines iconic scenery, standout golf and refined resort comforts, making it a great option to include as part of a wider Canadian golf tour itinerary.

Emerald Lake Lodge, 2 nights
Situated on the shores of the lake in Yoho National Park, the Emerald Lake Lodge is a great place to relax and admire the stunning views around you. The accommodation is spread across 24 cabin style buildings built from hand-hewn timber, with all the guest rooms providing an electronics - light experience, free from the distractions of the TV, mobile and WiFi though there's WiFi in the main lodge.
The main building features a restaurant, lounge and bar. The restaurant serves signature Canadian Rocky Mountain cuisine, which is very popular with outside guests as well as those staying in the lodge, so we would recommend reserving a table before you travel.
Please note that on arrival you’ll need to park your car at Emerald Lake Lodge's car park, which is a short shuttle ride from the lodge itself. At the car park you’ll find a cabin with a telephone where you call the lodge to be collected and brought to the main building.
Located an hour from Banff and perfectly positioned on your journey west towards Whistler, the Emerald Lake Lodge is an ideal place to break your journey as part of your wider Canadian golf experience.
