Golf Kings has topped all our expectations. We have been doing tips abroad to Spain, Turkey and Portugal and in the last 8 years including March 2026) we have been to Morocco 6 times. This was the first trip through Golf Kings Travel. Alasdair and team looked after us well from time we made the exploration and gave us the best quote among 3. Cherry on the cake was the checking in the 12 and emailing me the 12 boarding passes - made my work light. Overall excellent service. Golf kings will get our business for next year provided Alasdair quotes me happy. Feedback on Courses Akenza Great course, but a real test. Opened in September 2025, played there in March 2026. Kyle Philips design - an attempt to recreate TPC Arizona. Tee to Green - brilliant lay out with vast ravines to catch errant shots. Greens run true. High handicappers can feel challenged at the end. Club house facilities - early days, will get better. Will visit again Noria 3rd time playing. Overall course presentation was a little ragged at the edges, tees scruffy with grass quality poor and weeds growing on tee areas .Sand on the bunkers varied in amount and quality. The green metal fencing all around the fairways from the construction sites which was more in play was an eyesore. Fairways would benefit from a bit of different levels of grass growth. Samanah What a let down, a view equally shared by the 12. It was indeed sad to see the quality of the course in general has deteriorated over the the last 2-3 years since COVID in 2020-2023. The fairways were scruffy with blotches of ‘cabbage’ the middle of fairway. The edges were really frayed. It was really heart breaking to see how the greens (Which was the best in Marrakesh before COVID) have deteriorated. Quality of fairways is very poor , weeds growing around greens , different types of grass and uneven fairway cutting . Placing on fairways would have been appropriate due to poor fairway conditions. The whole golf experience is not great , the practice area is poor , the grass at the range is patchy and full of hard rye grass , uneven and scruffy . The buggies were tired and all were dusty , had caravan type bungee straps on the rear . Several people noted they were having problems with starting and running of the buggies . Assoufid Well presented course , a fair test of golf for all abilities. Greens in great condition. Fairways in great order , can recommend this course to other fellow golf travellers. Clubhouse and facilities excellent with all staff very welcoming . Palm Ourika Course layout is ok . However the overall course presentation was not great .This is our 2nd visit and considering last years visit the course has deteriorated further . The greens were ok but fairways and tee boxes were very poor . Weeds growing around tee boxes and drains . Would have been beneficial to have had placing in place due to poor conditioning . A general feeling that due to conditioning we would not recommend to other golfers . The clubhouse facilities are below average , no milk available for coffee on arrival . Post round we were only able to purchase one beer per person (12 beers ) as they had run out ? Bunker conditions were varied , footprints not raked . Rakes were not available in all bunkers. Al Maaden Best of the 6 played this year. Kudos to the Green keeping staff for keeping the course on superb condition tee to Green. Stunning views all around, greens run true. Service from the Pro shop was brilliant. On the downside, the bunkers were not raked at all with big divots and foot marks all around ( probably related the week end counting with Ramadan break and the players not raking after playing) and Service at the 19th hole needs lots of work We always enjoy Al Maaden as an experience , service in clubhouse is always a bit slow . Albeit the staff are welcoming and friendly , they never have enough glasses to serve drinks when it’s busy . That minor inconvenience aside , we would recommend highly to fellow golfers

Golf Course conditions on both Pines and Dunes were a bit disappointing possibly due to earlier bad weather. Greens were poor although a lot of work was being carried out while we were there with lots of top dressing and sand being applied to improve them. Towards the end of our stay we could see a general improvement but too late for us.
