The same trend has also been evident when it has come to booking golf holidays with an ever increasing number of people booking their own flights, hotels and golf course directly to save a few pounds. Over a short period of time, this has brought about more and more horror stories of people booking their holidays this way and having nothing but problems and headaches from the moment they check-in at the airport until they return home (eventually!!)

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY FLIGHT IS CANCELLED?

› Left to book an alternative flight at extra Expense to the yourself
› A 3-6 month Wait on a refund on the fare paid on the Original flights

› An alternative flight found on same day or nearest Date to original flight
› If new date not suitable a full Refund will be offered

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE AIRLINE GOES INTO LIQUIDATION?

› No assistance in finding an alternative flight or travel option
› Depending on the airline and circumstances, loss of all monies paid for original flight with no refund

› You are financially covered under our ATOL bonding
› A Suitable alternative flight will be offered
› Or a full refund will be given on the original flights

THE HOTEL IS OVERBOOKED OR HAS NO NOTE OF YOUR RESERVATION?

› Left with either having to pay for your room again or having to find alternative accommodation at own expense
› Trying to sort out a refund upon your return home

› All bookings are confirmed and pre-paid before eparture and in the unlikely event of any problems at check-in, a suitable alternative of the same standard will be found with no cost to yourself

THE GOLF COURSE HAS NO NOTE OF MY RESERVATION

› In some cases especially in high season, no possibility of playing that course, that day

› In the unlikely event of the courses not having your booking or paperwork gets misplaced, copies can be forwarded from ourselves

I missed my flight due to the airline making a schedule change and not notifying me

› Airlines will treat it as a 'no show' and automatically cancel the return flight also
› No refund will be given by the airlines and an alternative will need to be booked at your own expense

› All airlines we use on our packages are bonded by law to notify us if the flight timings change by even 5 minutes from the original timings and we will contact you with the new details
› If your return timings change while you are on holiday, we will contact you in resort to advise you of the new timings

› Other than relying on the better nature of the staff in your Hotel or apartments, no help or advice would be readily available

› A representative from one of the mainline tour Operators or an English speaking contact in our local suppliers resort offices will be on hand 24 hours a day 7 days a week

› Letters and e-mails to either the Hotel or airlines directly with no guarantee of an acknowledgement or a reply to the complaints or issues raised

›We will act on your behalf and raise all issues you were unhappy with and ensure that a reply is received within ABTA & ATOL regulations of 28 days from the airlines and/or tour operators concerned
