Exploring Whistler
Sea to Sky Gondola
A scenic drive south of Whistler along the spectacular Sea to Sky Highway, this gondola climbs high above Howe Sound to a summit lodge with jaw-dropping views back over the fjord and coastal mountains. At the top there's a suspension bridge, viewing platforms and gentle walking trails to explore at your own pace. It makes a brilliant half-day out for golfers with an afternoon to spare.
Peak 2 Peak Gondola
Peak 2 Peak Gondola links the summits of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains in a single unforgettable ride, gliding high above the valley with nothing but forest and glacier below. Once you're at the top a network of easy alpine walks and viewpoints opens up. Make sure to take plenty of photos!
Scandinave Baths Experience
Tucked into the forest just north of the village, the Scandinave Baths is the perfect way to unwind. The Scandinavian bathing ritual moves you between steaming hot pools, cold plunges and quiet relaxation spaces, all tucked among the trees.

Whistler is laced with trails for every energy level, from gentle strolls around the lakes to more adventurous alpine climbs. Easy valley walks like the loop around Lost Lake are perfect for a relaxed afternoon, while the gondolas open up high alpine views for those wanting to go higher. Tee Off in Whistler
Located onsite at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler, this Robert Trent Jones Jr. design offers a fantastic golfing experience. Expect plenty of elevation changes, the odd bit of wildlife and a mountain view from almost every tee. It's a real treat, and about as handy a round as you'll find from your hotel.
Jack Nicklaus has lent his name to only a handful of courses anywhere in the world, and this is one of them - reason enough to make the short trip north of the village. Laid out along the valley floor beside Green Lake, it's a more open, forgiving layout than its mountain neighbours.
Arnold Palmer's first design on Canadian soil, and still the most convenient round in the resort - you can stroll to the first tee straight from the village. It's a championship layout that captures the essence of Canadian golf, great course conditions paired with scenic mountain views.
Worth the short drive north into the Pemberton Valley, Big Sky Golf Club sits in the shadow of the towering Mount Currie. The longest of Whistler's four courses, the Robert Cupp design offers 18 holes of championship golf with spectacular mountain views at every turn - a genuine treat in a memorable setting.
