Westlake Golf Club is a unique 18-hole parkland-style course that was designed by their very own members. The magnificent course is continuously in perfect conditions and considered a true test of golfing ability.
Westlake Golf Club is widely recognised for its greens which are all Poa Annua, a very delicate grass that requires a lot of attention and maintenance but when manicured correctly delivers a sensational putting surface. The fairways, semi-rough, rough and tee boxes are all Kikuyu which is the standard and perfect surface for South African courses.
The course is managed daily, with the bunkers and greens being maintained constantly, and the fairways/rough being cut very often. The rough is intentionally kept “rough” to pose a true and genuine test of golf. At Westlake, the practice facilities are superb with a driving range and two Pitch and Putt areas with bunkers.
