The Royal Golf de Marrakech is the oldest golf club in Morocco, hang opened in 1923 by the Pasha of Marrakech. The unique course has 27-holes to choose from, including an 18-hole old course and a 9-hole new course.
The Royal Golf de Marrakech is located at the foot of the famous and picturesque Atlas Mountain and is scattered with natural delights such as a variety of cypress, eucalyptus, palm, olive, orange and apricot trees. The 27-hole course provides breath-taking views and is a “must play” when visiting Marrakech.
The course is home to the most mature plantings in courses across Marrakech, lined with much greenery and plantation on each hole. The abundance of plantation and greenery provides an immaculate aesthetic for golfers however can also create a challenge scoring-wise. The 6th hole, for example, features beautiful orange trees lining each side of the fairway for the entire hole, which does not suit a wayward driver.
The club features many amenities such as a bar to enjoy refreshments after an enjoyable round of golf, buggy hire, changing facilities, a driving range and practice area, a pro shop and much more.
