Noria Golf Club
Marrakech Golf Courses
Noria Golf Club is located in the south of Morocco, designed to incorporate the scenic landscapes, fields, deserts, oasis, orchards, villages and palaces within the local surroundings.
Noria Golf Club was designed by Steve Forrest from Hills & Forrest International Golf Course Architects. The architects have a reputation of creating highly successful and traditional courses, suitable for all levels of golfers. They have successfully designed Noria Golf Course to create a memorable golf experience for every visitor.
The architects have successfully created Noria Golf Course to incorporate the traditional Moroccan village, whist also incorporating stunning views of the surrounding southern Moroccan landscapes. The course incorporates a variety of different natural landscapes, for example three different zones throughout the 18-hole course: zone 1 features the olive orchards and lavender fields, zone 2 features the desert and zone 3 features the former pools and architecture.
The legend of Isli and Tislit (morocco’s version of Romeo and Juliet) has become a marketing story of Noria Golf Course. The two lovers are represented by the lake on hole 14 and a basin in the village on hole 15 to be forever linked by a water feature.
