The standout hole is the par three “island” green hole number 8. Though instead of water completely surrounding the star shaped putting surface (the Iberostar logo), it is completely protected by sand.

Attached to the 5 star Iberostar Resort in Punta Cana, this golf course is one that is played across many different terrains; with lakes, streams, and sandy desert-like waste areas throughout (as well as over 100 bunkers!), Iberostar Bavaro Golf Club will have you swooning for more.

With 4 tee-box options varying in yardages and direction of play, this is a golf course to suit any handicap and ability of golfer. It can be stretched to around 6,800 yards, so is no push over off of the tips.

Iberostar Bavaro Golf Club is considered to be comfortably in the top 10 golf courses in the Dominican Republic, putting it in great company alongside heavyweights likes of Teeth of the Dog, Corales and Punta Espada. There are a selection of make or break par 4s and 5s, that require your utmost attention, as well as beautiful little par 3s that offer up great birdie opportunities to well struck tee-shots.

Guests at any of the Iberostar properties below can enjoy reduced green fees and prime tee times on the golf course. Including return transfers, buggies, drinks and snacks. The clubhouse even has it’s own pool, so remember to pack swimwear, for an 19^th hole dip.
