Mar Menor Golf Club

The Mar Menor golf course in Mar Menor Village Golf is located in the province of Murcia,  The course surface is approximately 59 hectares and has a maximum length of 6,153 metres enabling quite a demanding par 72. The green area or playing area is 45 hectares; the rest of the areas are gardens with a variety of indigenous plants of this area.

David Thomas designed the first nine holes of Mar Menor Village Golf, par 37 of 3,275 metres at its greatest distance. It demands good strokes to put the ball on its courses with hardly any rough. Its greens are well protected by bunkers and  by the water of the lakes around the course.
 
The second nine holes, designed by Nicklaus Design, are par 35 of 2,878 m, at its greatest distance,  has wide fairways and wide roughs that allow big strikes.  The spectacular lake around holes 13,14 and 15 deserves special mention, making the water the greatest obstacle to be overcome. The rest of the holes are protected by strategic bunkers.

Golf Villamartin

Villamartin Golf Course Description

A sister course to La Finca, Golf Villamartin is one of the Costa Blanca’s best kept secrets. The large undulating greens, which are very receptive even to slightly miss-hit shots, are an attractive feature of this course. The fairways are generous and the only real trouble comes from the water hazards which come into play on four of the holes. At 6700 yards, the Villamartin Golf Course can be fairly challenging from the back tees, but the forward tees take a lot of the hazards out of play and make some of the shorter par 4s driveable for big hitters.

Campoamar

Situated on the Costa Blanca next to the resort of Torrevieja , Campoamar Golf Course has proved to be a popular choice for golfers of all abilities and is often described as "a real holiday course."

Campoamar Golf Course Description

The fairways are long and wide giving players the opportunity to open their shoulders from the tee. Accuracy on approach shots is required to avoid the many bunkers guarding the greens. The large undulating putting surfaces require a good touch and will test even those players with the best short games.

The Campoamar Golf Course is a par 72 and measures just over 6800 yards from the back tees. This makes it one of the longest in area, but it is a golf course that can be enjoyed by players of all abilities and has a large percentage of return visitors year after year.

La Manga South

La Manga Golf – South Course Description

Re-modified by Arnold Palmer in 1992, the South Course measures 6499 metres from the championship tees, but despite its length, proves to be a popular choice for visitors to Murcia. The South Course has also hosted many Professional Tournaments, including both the ladies’ and men’s Spanish Opens, European Tour Qualifying Schools, and PGA Championships. 

The front 9 is regarded as the toughest on any of the three La Manga Golf Courses. Accuracy is needed to avoid the many strategically placed bunkers and water hazards. The back 9 contains a number of dogleg holes, and despite being slightly shorter, it still requires precise play.

La Manga North

La Manga Golf – North Course Description

At 5753 metres, the North Course is a lot shorter than the South, but tighter fairways and large undulating greens make this par 71 a challenge for players of all abilities. This rolling course is set between Palm trees and water hazards making precision, rather than length the order of the day. 

Completely renovated in 2001, the trademark of the La Manga North Course is its large, fast greens that require a deft touch.

La Manga West

La Manga Golf – West Course Description

Offering outstanding views of the surrounding area, the West Course is becoming a firm favourite with many visitors to La Manga Courses.

This par 73, 5971 metre course follows the natural contours of the land and its frequent changes in elevation result in frequent blind shots to well guarded greens. The front 9 is set amidst Pine woodlands that require precision off the tee. The back 9 is set higher up with open fairways and fast greens.

The shorter length of La Torre Golf makes the golf course more playable for the average to higher-handicap players who will certainly appreciate the four sets of tees, wide fairways, and beautiful setting. At the same time, La Torre Golf incorporates a great deal of strategy ,and exciting shots, so when played from the back tees, the course will still be interesting to better players who will enjoy the wide variety of shots required to successfully play the course.

Saurines de La Torre Golf Course is an 18 hole, par 72, desert-style golf course but with a links philosophy, is designed by Jack Nicklaus. It is designed with influences of the Nicklaus golf course in Lake, Las Vegas. Its main characteristics are undulating fairways and greens among desert dunes, few bunkers and a great 6 hectare lake. Holes 9 and 18 go around the lake, which guarantees an exciting finish.

Hacienda Riquelme Golf Course

 Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort is the only golf course in Sucina, Spain.

The Hacienda Riquelme Golf golf course weaves is way through and around groves of olive trees, wildflower meadows, and large lakes.
 
The boldly contoured greens are sure to be the most talked about feature of the course. Many of the greens are broken into several sections by strong elevation changes making it crucial for golfers to play to the correct section of the green in order to set up the easiest putt possible.
