Royal Carlton Hotel

One of the classic Italian courses, designed by Cotton & Harris and built in 1959, the golf club is situated on splendid rolling countryside with marvellous sweeping panoramic views across the surrounding hills. Its layout is constantly being up-dated and in recent years, it has played host to the Italian Amateur Championships many times as well as to a great number of top-level professional competitions. The smart and elegant clubhouse blends in well with the surrounding countryside and is the ideal place to sample the refined cuisine of the club restaurant, which has been named amongst the top ten club restaurants in Italy on more than one occasion.

The club is situated in the fascinating Sillaro Valley, which enjoys a mild and pleasant micro-climate and is surrounded by gently rolling hills. The 18 hole, par-72 parkland course is extremely varied and entertaining both for experienced players and beginners.

Set in the magnificent Apennines near Bologna, Molino del Pero Golf Club offers an 18-hole par 70 course that covers 5,480 metres and is varied, technical and fun.

 The first 9 holes, which are short and technically demanding, are perfectly complemented by the second 9 holes that are much longer and wider but equally spectacular. Thanks to the particularly pleasant climate - breezy in the summer and never foggy in winter - it is possible to play here all year round. It has a wonderful club house located in a converted hay barn and its enormous oak beams and large fireplace ensure it is always warm and welcoming. The restaurant, in the old grinding room, serves excellent quality, traditional local cuisine.
