Designed by Sir Nick Faldo, the Summit Windmill Golf Club is one of the finest golf courses in the Bangkok area. It is an 18-hole championship setup that opens and closes with par fives to tempt you into some risk-and reward-golf if in the mood. Elevated greens are a common feature throughout the course so club selection is important here.

The club itself has some of the best facilities on offer with two great dining options making it a popular place to enjoy a breakfast or lunch following your round. 

As is common on golf courses in the area, there are plenty of water features to avoid and strategic bunkering throughout. In our view, Summit Windmill Golf Club is a strong option in the Bangkok area and offers a great experience during your Thailand golf holiday. 

Fancy a night – golf experience? This is one of the very few floodlit golf options. It is great fun if looking for something different during your trip.

A Robert Trent Jones Jr design, Navatanee has a rich history as host to the World Cup of golf in 1975. This really put the golf course and the country on the golfing map. It is one of the best designs in the Bangkok area and truly deserves respect as it can be a tough test in places.

Highlights include the par 4 6th hole which measures out at 445 yards ensuring that walking away with a score on this hole will undoubtedly be a highlight of your game.

The club has fully focused on providing golfers with the best possible experience and the presentation of the course is paramount, you will really enjoy the layout and conditioning at Navatanee. 

Navatanee is easily accessible from the city of Bangkok too which makes it a popular option to include if stopping off in the city for a few days.

Riverdale Golf Club is a perfect holiday golf course if stopping off in the Bangkok area for a few days due to its proximity to the city.

A challenging course in places with a lot of elevated tees into the valleys below and some interesting par 3’s ensure a memorable golfing experience. Most Bangkok golf courses are generally quite flat so this is a welcome change of pace versus surrounding golf courses. 

With plenty of water to contend with, the golf course is no pushover and is highly recommended on any golf itinerary when visiting Bangkok and the surrounding area.
