Craigielaw Golf Club
Another of the new kids on East Lothian’s “Golf Coast”, Craigielaw Golf Club offers modern lodge accommodation with links golf on your doorstep. Designed by Donald Steel & Co. and opened in 2001, it has already hosted several tournaments and notably qualifying for the 2007 British Seniors Open at Muirfield.
Located only a few miles along the coast from Gullane in the town of Aberlady, Craigielaw Golf Club offers up a new test of links golf. Raised and complex greens are there to welcome you at every hole and will call for a number of different approach shots, some of which are only ever required on links courses. The bunkers are deep and worth avoiding at all costs.
The Lodge at Craigielaw has 30 bedrooms and boasts sea and golf course views. The rooms and modern and well presented, with all the comforts of home, including flat-screen tv’s and coffee machine. Kilspindie Golf Club is also located right alongside Craigielaw, offering up another golf course within walking distance from the accommodation.
