Comporta is easily accessed by flying into Lisbon International Airport. From here, you are an 80-minute transfer to the Comporta region.

Village Life

Comporta is a village that, in a former life was a predominantly agricultural area. Nowadays, the rural charm of the village still exists with many of the older buildings remaining as they once were from the outside but fully re-purposed on the inside into a stunning selection of restaurants and bars. You will find a selection of café’s and shops as well. The resort has a real charm to it. 

Wine

The local area is renowned for its wine production. Very regionalised and with family-run wine estates, you are likely to discover wine here that you will struggle to find elsewhere! 

Eating out

Comporta is a culinary destination in its own right with the most incredible dishes making use of the local seafood and also the rice padi fields as well. All of the local restaurants make use of the local ingredients with a real connection to the area.

When is the best to visit Comporta?

The best months to stay and play in Comporta are between April and June or September and October. There are good deals to be enjoyed if you visit off-season too, during March and November! 


Can transfers be included in Comporta golf trips?

Yes, we can include transfers within your golf package to Comporta. We recommend transfers for ease of getting around the local region or book a hire car to have total independence during your stay. 


Is there good nightlife?

Comporta is not a Vilamoura or a Marbella style resort. It is low-key but with great options for eating and drinking in the evenings. It's not a late-night destination either, but perfect for post-golf dinners and drinks in a relaxed setting.


Can you visit and play the courses for the day?

Yes, you can visit and play the courses in Comporta for the day.  We also recommend this if you are staying in the Cascais or South Lisbon regions. The courses are too good to miss and will make for a memorable day trip.
