Amelkis Golf Club, named after a Berber Queen, first opened in 1995 as an 18-hole golf course, within 5 years, the course was hosting the Moroccan Open where Jamie Spence won the event by 4 strokes, beating Sebastien Delagrange, Thomas Levet and Ian Poulter.
The 18-hole golf course was designed by architect, Cabell Robinson, who has created a unique and selective course layout, involving many technical holes which will require strategic play.
The course is surrounded by a beautiful clubhouse as well as luxurious on-site villas and a hotel. The course also features several lakes and many palm trees providing for a very aesthetically pleasing round of golf for all levels of golfers.
Amelkis Golf Club also features a 9-hole course featuring giant double greens and is renowned for its exceptional deign. The club are also in the process of creating another 9-holes on site which will result in Amelkis being a 38-hole golf club.
