The Al Maaden Golf Club is located just outside the city centre of Marrakech in the heart of a hilly and natural environment, offering breathtaking views of the snowy Atlas Mountain peaks. The 18-hole, Par-72, championship course spans over 72 hectares of land at a total length of 6,569 metres.
The unique golf course passes through a wooden forestry setting with “dog-leg” holes and stunning high greens. This one-of-a-kind golf course is suitable for all levels of golfers, featuring a variety of different tee off points, several overhanging departures offering spectacular views of the Atlas Mountains, water obstacles and high greens. The course is also littered with palm trees, cypress trees and almond trees.
Al Maaden Golf Club combines nature and technical fantasy, proving a challenge for all levels of golfers whilst still being enjoyable and affordable. The course was architected by Kyle Phillips, who created a unique and picturesque golf experience by combining Moroccan desert land with a Scottish twist.
The practice amenities found at the Al Maaden Golf Club are second to none, featuring a 300-metre-long driving range (both on carpet and on grass) and a Pitch and Putt area. The course is a must play when visiting Marrakech.
