The 2009 World Matchplay will be held at Finca Cortesin Golf Club in in the Costa del Sol from the 29th October to the 1st of November. Wentworth was the previous home of the Matchplay and provided many exciting tournaments over the years.
This year sees a new format and venue which will make for great viewing. Paul Casey, Camilo Villegas, Retief Goosen and Robert Allenby have all recently confirmed their place in the new look event.
