Turkey and Sirene Golf Hotel chosen to Host the World Amateur Team Championships
Antalya Golf Club has been chosen to host the 2012 World Amateur Team Championships. Home of the PGA Sultan and Pasha Courses, Antalya Golf Club are delighted to extend the use of their immaculate courses to the elite amateur golfers who compete in this Bi-Annual Event.
The Championships consist of the 25th womens championship for the Espirito Santo Trophy and the 28th mens championship for the Eisenhower Trophy and both events will be hosted by the Turkish Golf Federation in September 2012.
Both championships gather the worlds leading amateur golfers and each country enters a team of three players who play 72 holes strokeplay with the best 2 scores from 3 counting each day.
