If you are abroad and your flight is cancelled
Your airline is responsible under EU law to provide accommodation until a return flight to the UK is available. In the case of Turkey please contact the Thomas Cook Antalya Office on +90 242 340 5523 with your Thomas Cook Reference (shown on your tickets) and they will arrange accommodation and give information on your return flights.
If you are in Portugal or Spain from our experience the best practice would be to go to the Airport and speak to someone from your respective airline. Some of the web based airlines are not openly offering accommodation (contrary to EU Law) but when confronted at the airport the arrangements are being put in place. Alternatively we can assist to arrange accommodation in resort and provide documentation that will assist you will a travel insurance claim.
