On the east coast of island on 2km of sandy beach, the Belle Mare Plage Hotel is set in 15 acres of Tropical Gardens. The beach at the resort is protected by an offshore coral reef making it ideal for the range of watersports available.
 
The Belle Mare Plage Hotel has a total of 256 rooms from luxurious prestige rooms, junior suites and private villas. The villas are in a secluded beach position with private pool as well as a personal maitre de villa.
 
The 7 restaurants on-site cater for every taste from the informal La Citronelle offering buffet style to the a la carte Blue Penny Cafe. An extensive range of sporting activities are on offer at The Bellemare Plage incl. 2 x 18 hole and 1 x 9 hole golf courses, 4 tennis courts, waterskiing and windsurfing. For the less energetic there is a choice of 4 swimming pools and a full range of massage and body treatments are also available at the Shiseido Pavilion.
