Officially opened to the public in January 2006, the Montgomerie Golf Course is the newest jewel in the crown of Dubai's golf courses. Designed by Colin Montgomerie and Desmond Muirhead, the course covers a total of 200 acres and is built with the traditions of a typical Scottish links course.
The Montgomerie Golf Course Description
With wide undulating fairways, fourteen lakes, and a total of seventy-two bunkers, the course provides a challenge which will intrigue players of all levels. Another feature is large greens. The par 3, 13th hole, covers an area of 58,000 square feet making it the largest single green anywhere in world golf. Its island shape means it can also be played from a 360 degree teeing area, making it a totally different hole each time you play.
