Majorca golf courses - Son Antem Golf

Situated between Palma city and Playa de Palma, Son Antem offers 2 x 18 holes courses with complete contrast in styles. The East Course was designed with novice and beginners in mind with flat wide open fairways and very little in the way of rough. The only obstacles to overcome are the 5 lakes which come into play on a number of holes. The East Course is a popular choice for groups on their first days play in Majorca, allowing a straightforward course on which to limber up for the more challenging courses on the island. The West Course at Son Antem opened in 2001 to much acclaim and is a tougher proposition than the East Course. Tight fairways call for accuracy from the tee and with a number of raised greens, distances can be deceiving. There is also a number of water hazards and strategically positioned bunkers to contend with.
