Re-modified by Arnold Palmer in 1992, the South Course measures 6499 metres from the championship tees but despite it’s length proves to be a popular choice for all level of player. The South Course has also hosted many Professional Tournaments including both the ladies and gents Spanish Opens, European Tour Qualifying Schools and PGA Championships.
The front nine is regarded as the toughest on any of La Mangas 3 courses with accuracy to avoid the many strategically positioned bunkers and water hazards a must. Despite being slightly shorter, the back 9 still requires precise play with a number of dog-leg holes.
