Located in the eastern end of The Algarve, Castro Marim is one of the newest courses in Portugal and is in an area that until recently had no golfing infrastructure at all.
Built next to a nature reserve, Castro Marim offers a peaceful atmosphere and views over the atlantic ocean and the nearby River Guadiana. At only 5800 yards long this par 71 is not a long course by modern standards but a number of natural lakes come into play on many holes requiring accuracy and careful course management.
Castro Marim is practically flat with very little undulation and with a choice of tees offers different challenges for players of all levels.
