Close to the centre of the resort of Vilamoura on flat ground, the Laguna Course is unlike the other courses in the area as it offers a links style feel with very little trees and wide open fairways.

As it's name suggests, there is however large water hazards which come into play on a number of holes and stratigically placed bunkers require some care on both tee-shots and approach shots.  Due to it's open surroundings, wind can play a major factor and influence club selection especially on the par 3's.

An ideal course for the higher handicapper due to it's generous fairways and lack of real trouble, like the Pinhal course, is a popular choice for visitors to the area on which to hone their game for the tougher courses which await.
