Situated in the Ria Formosa National Park, Quinta do lago North is one of two 18 hole courses which weaves its way through the scenic 2,000 acre estate.  Quinta do Lago Golf Club is always ranked in the top 25 courses in Europe and a regular venue for the Portugeuse Open.  Both courses are very well regarded and we highly recommend you include them in your Algarve golf holiday. 

The North Course, formally Ria Formosa Golf, is built on similair terrain to the South Course but offers different challanges.

The fairways are not as generous from the tee making accuracy a must and a trademark of the course is that all the par 4's with the exception of the 10th and 13th holes are dog-legs.  The par 3's are all heavily influenced by the wind and a require a great deal of thought and careful club selection.
