Located just a short drive from the resort of Albufeira, the Salgados Golf Course enjoys an open coastal position and is built on a sandy sub soil.  Opened in 1994 and 6200m from the back tees.

Built on flat terrain, it is a testing challange with sand dunes on one side and marshland on the other the course is also surrounded by saltwater lagoons, canals and freshwater lakes.  Accuracy is a must to avoid these many hazards and the often fresh sea breezes will test the shot making skills of even the more seasoned campaigner. 

Enjoying a superb location, Salgados is a tough test, of golf in the Algarve, where local knowledge is very much a factor and is a course which favours the return player rather than the first time visitors.
