Opened for play in 2003, La Reserva Golf Course at Sotogrande has already gained a reputation as one of the best courses in the Costa del Sol, and indeed across the whole of Spain.
La Reserva Golf Course Description
The Cabell Robinson designed La Reserva Course is one of the longest in the Costa del Sol, measuring over 7300 yards from the back tees. There is, however, a choice of five tees, making it appealing and enjoyable for players of all abilities.
The fairways are wide, but some degree of care has to be taken to avoid the many bunkers and water hazards. The undulating greens are also very large, with a number of them sitting on split levels, which makes accuracy key.
La Reserva Golf Course is one of the more expensive courses, but it enjoys some stunning views of the surrounding area and offers a truly unique experience.
More a members only club, tee-times are available to visitors on a restricted basis and it is advisable to book this course well in advance.
