This Gary Player designed course lies between the resorts of Estepona and San Pedro de Alcantara in the Paraiso Valley and is a popular choice for visitors to the area.
The fairways are relatively generous although if you stray too far off line, thick rough awaits. The course is also traversed by a number of streams which run into 2 large lakes which come into play of 5 holes. The 6th hole is regarded as the toughest with a par 5 dog-leg where the drive must be accurate to avoid 2 well positioned fairway bunkers and the 2nd shot aimed to the left to avoid the lake which guards the right hand side.
El Paraiso is a well designed course where golfers of all standards never tire of returning to.
