Re-opened in January 2006, El Chaperral is located in La Cala de Mijas between Fuengirola and Marbella.  Surrounded by pine forests and indigenous vegetation no 2 holes are alike.

A unique feature of El Chaperral is the combination of holes with 6 x par 5's, 6 x par 4's and 6 x par 3's with practically all holes offering views of the nearby Mediterranean sea.

Not long by modern day standards at just over 6200 yards, a number of doglegs and huge trees call for accuracy and careful placement  from the tee to ensure a clear view of the green on your approach shot. The large and varied greens also require close attention with a number of undulations and subtle borrows.

A panoramic location and ideally postioned for the main resorts in The Costa del Sol, El Chapperral provides a good but fair test for players of all albilities.
