Wrapped around El Hacho beacon with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean and Gibraltar, La Duquesa is a typical Robert Trent Jones course with thick rough and large bunkers.
Accurate tee-shots are required due to the tight undulating fairways which are lined with palm trees and bunkers. Approach shots also have to be precise to avoid the large greenside bunkers. Even when players find the green, concentration and a good putting stroke is required to conquer the large contours and undulations.
