Situated in the Mijas mountains this Seve Ballesteros designed course wraps itself around the undulating terrain and offers a severe test of golf.
The fairways are long and narrow requiring accurate tee-shots to avoid the many strategically placed bunkers, water hazards and colourful array of flowers which make the rough look almost inviting. There are a choice of 6 teeing positions on each hole making the course adaptable to all level of golfer although for those not confident of tackling this tough track, there is also a nine hole par 3 course on-site. For the young, Alhaurin also provides an 18 hole junior course.
Offering panoramic views of the Mijas Mountains to the north and the Mediterranean sea to the south, if you golf game lets you down, the stunning scenery will more than make up for it.
