Overlooking Marbellas Golf Valley La Quinta was designed by Manuel Pinero and Antonio Garcia Garrido and opened for play in 1989.
The majority of tees are elevated offering excellent visibility and the fairways are fairly generous but large fairway bunkers await any tee-shots that stray too far off line. Raised greens also require careful club selection and accuracy is required on approach shots to avoid the fearsome greenside bunkers.
A further 9 holes have recently been added at La Quinta increasing the variety of holes on offer to accommodate golfers of all abilities.
