Costa Del Sol golf courses - Flamingo Golf

Flamingo Golf is situated midway between the resorts or Estepona and San Pedro de Alcantara on The Costa del Sol and enjoys views of The Mediterranean Sea, Gibralter and North Africa.

The first of a planned 4 courses at Flamingo Golf, The Rosa Course was opened for play in the summer of 2001. Designed by Antonio Garcia Garrido, the front nine and back nine provide a contrasts of tests. The front nine calls for a greater degree of accuracy especially from the tee, with fairways lined by numerous olive, orange and cypress trees. The Arroyo de Taraje stream also meanders it's way through the front nine catching many first time vistors off guard. The back nine has slightly more generous fairways although stratigically placed bunkers and a few water hazards will keep even the more experienced player on their toes.

Measuring just over 6300 yards from the back tees, Flamingo Golf can be a tough but fair challange for golfers of all abilities and with views of the Mediterranean Sea on most holes is well worth a visit during your next visit to The Costa del Sol.
