Situated in Doña Julia Golf Resort, between Marbella and Sotogrande, this golf course is perfectly integrated in the natural environment of the area and stands out for its magnificent views to the Mediterranean and the African coastline. The course was designed by renowned Málaga architect, Antonio García Garrido, the designer responsible for some of Spain’s top courses.
The 18-hole, par-71 measures 6.021 metres-long and has two very different lay-outs, being suitable for any type of player. The first 9 holes are longer and more difficult, winding between indigenous trees, lakes and rivers while the other 9 are more manageable, having a gentle incline, and being within a close proximity to the sea - undoubtedly a challenge for professionals as well as high handicappers.
The Golf Club will soon complete its installations with the construction of the Club House next to the Hotel Park Hyatt Casares, with a Driving Range measuring over 300 metres long, a short game area, a 9-hole Par 3 course, two football pitches and an International Golf Academy, at which golfers can learn and improve their playing technique.
