Located next to The Old Course, San Roque New opened for play in 2005 to compliment it's much acclaimed big sister.
Designed by Seve Ballesteros & Perry Dye, the course incorporates the hilly terrain offering wonderful views over the Mediterranean Sea and Guadalquiton River.
Measuring just over 7100 yards from the back tees, The San Roque New Course is equally as long as The Old Course but a slightly easier and a more foregiving test. The fairways are generously wide but still require careful placement to ensure a clear view of the pin on the approach shot. The greens are very large but are protected by over 100 bunkers, large mounds and on 4 holes, water hazards.
A course designed to challange the lower handicapper, a choice of 5 x different tee positions also make it an enjoyable course for the more inexperienced player.
