Opened for play in 2003, La Reserva Sotogrande has already gained a reputation as one of the best courses in the area is not in all of Spain.
The Cabell Robinson designed course is one of the longest in The Costa del Sol, measuring over 7300 yards from the back tees. There are however, a choice of 5 x tees making it appealing and enjoyable to players of all abilities.
The fairways are wide and undulating although some degree of care has to be taken to avoid the many bunkers and water hazards. The greens are also very large but can be undulating with a number on split levels meaning accuracy is key to ensure a straight forward birdie putt.
Enjoying some stunning views to the surrounding countryside, despite being one of the more expensive courses in the area, a round at La Reserva is highly recommened and offers a truely unique experience.
More a members only club, tee-times are available to visitors on a restricted basis and it is advisable to book this course well in advance to avoid being disappointed.
