Located in the Sotogrande estate close to Valderamma, Almenara Golf Course offers 27 holes to suit golfers of all abilities. Designed by Dave Thomas, the original 18 holes opened for play in 1998 with an additional 9 holes completed in 2001.
Almenara Golf Course Description
Measuring between 6350 and 6400 yards, depending on which 18 hole configuration is used, Almenara Golf Course is built on undulating terrain and buggy hire is strongly recommended. Elevated tees and raised greens are a trade mark of this course. The fairways are lined with Oak trees, Cork trees, and a number of streams, which makes accuracy from the tee important.
Renowned for always being in pristine condition, Almenara Golf Course offers a good test for golfers of all abilities, and with its beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and Mediterranean sea, is well worth a visit.
