Opened for play in November 2004, the Arnold Palmer designed Vilamoura Victoria Course instantly became regarded as one of Europe’s finest and played host to "The World Cup of Golf" in November 2005.
Vilamoura Victoria Course Description
At present it is the longest course on the Algarve measuring 6560 metres from the back tees. Built on virtually flat terrain a number of water hazards and waterfalls strategically guard a number of the fairways and greens with manmade mounds adding some undulation to the fairways. No two greens are the same, making careful placement on approach shots a must.
With a selection of five teeing positions per hole, the Vilamoura Victoria Golf Course accommodates players of all levels and has already proved to be a unique and unforgettable experience among visiting golfers.
