The Vilamoura Old Course is the second oldest course in the Algarve and is built to mirror many of the inland courses in the UK, with a fairly straightforward start getting gradually more difficult as the round goes on.

Large pine trees line many of the fairways punishing any stray tee-shots. The greens are fairly small in size and well guarded, requiring accuracy and careful club selection on the approach shots. Measuring 6800 yards from the back tees, the Old Course Vilamoura has a par of 73 and offers a wide variation of challenges and is a course enjoyed by many golfers of all abilities.
